Johanna Omolo Foundation offers a well-rounded environment to develop future talent and bring hope to the people of Dandora. We believe in providing young footballers both boys and girls with scholarship opportunities. This will enable them continue with their education while pursuing their sporting talent. My objective was to come up with a WordPress website which was the instruction of the client. They wanted a website that they can update content anytime they feel something needs to change so as to communicate better to the user. The client already had a own startup theme on this project

Scope of the Project
- Come up with a new website development made from WordPress (CMS) for the foundation.
- Providing navigation planning.
- Providing a wireframe for the foundation website.
- Create and connect the website with PayPal for donation purposes.
The Challenge
- Creation of foundation email for communication purposes.
- They had already chosen a theme to work with for this project so my work here was to do templating and the navigation/sitemap.
- Getting photos from the client had a delay.
- Moving from a static website to a WordPress website.
The Navigation/Sitemap
The “navigation” or “SiteMap” term can be interpreted in a different way. Generally, it is a focal part of the website on the website that lets the users find what they are looking for without needless clicks. It is a way to lead the user to the most important information on the website.
The Solution
As soon as we were all at the same page concerning the objectives, I started working on website. We agreed with the client that the first demo draft website will be in 2 weeks. That gives both parties the time to check the website and do editings or add any information that was needed. I started the website as a new WordPress-based project, utilizing the theme they had in mind initially and kick started the project. After the first 2 weeks there were some delays with the client as he was busy with his schedule that let led us to launched the website after the site’s primary version within 7 weeks weeks and within that period we set the site live.
